For Boys and Girls - U6 to U14

With a focus on building skills, good sportsmanship, and having fun, our Youth Recreational Soccer League is a great fall sport for kids!

SEASON BEGINS:

Summer: June 8 (registration : Apr 27 - May 17)
Fall: August 10 (registration: Jun 29 - Jul 19)

  • Players who sign up as individuals will be place on a house team. House teams will have team practice once a week. Team practice day and time will be announced 1 week before the start of the league.
  • Team Practices will be held at Silver Creek Sportsplex, on Mon., Tues., Wed. or Thurs between 4-6pm. Your team’s day/time assignment will be announced 1 week prior to the start of the league.

photoLeague Format

This is a Recreational Youth Soccer League. The league includes 7 regular games + 1 guaranteed playoff game.

Players who sign up as individuals will be place on a house team. House teams will have team practice once a week. Team practice day and time will be announced 1 week before the start of the league.

Player Placement

Players are placed on teams through a blind draft by age and skill level to make every attempt to level the playing field between teams in each age division. The League Director reserves the right to adjust teams as deemed necessary. Siblings in the same age groups will be permitted to play on the same team. The Coach’s child will be placed with him/her.

Please note: We cannot accept requests for specific coaches or placement with another player other than a sibling. No exceptions.

Why play indoor soccer?

  • Due to the small sided (fewer players) and fast nature of an indoor soccer game, each player is provided with more touches on the ball. This allows for the opportunity to build better individual ball handling skills including but not limited to: dribbling, passing, and shooting)
  • Because the ball does not go out of bounds, the game is faster and players increase their fitness levels without even realizing it
  • Players on house teams receive one practice a week with our trained coaches
  • Players receive more one on one coaching attention because of the smaller roster size
  • Play in our state-of-the-art, air conditioned indoor facility (great for players and spectators who also enjoy free wi-fi!)
  • A good option to keep up player development in the off-season!

Required Equipment

  • Flat soled or turf indoor soccer shoes, or tennis shoes
  • NO outdoor cleats permitted
  • Shinguards, which must be covered by long black socks
  • Black shorts
  • Uniform shirt will be provided.

Cost

  • $120 per player (Annual or 6-month membership required)
  • $25 for late registration

Membership

** All players must be Silver Creek Sportsplex members or pay a $12 day pass each day. If your membership expiration date falls before the end of the new season, renewal will be required at the time of league fee payment.

  • One-year membership $90
  • Six-month membership $60

    Punch card redeemable for a variety of programming may be purchased with One-year membership only, for an additional $30.
