Happy Thanksgiving! 

It's a long weekend, and there's lots to do at Silver Creek Sportsplex!

- Come out and try a Box Lacrosse clinic for FREE!  These are full 9:30am - 2:00pm sessions, not just one-hour intros. What a great way to spend a day!  See schedule below.

- If you are coming out to the plex, please consider bringing a few non-perishable food items. We are collecting food for 2nd Harvest Food Bank, and would like to fill our four bins to help those in our community whose pantries are empty in these difficult economic times.

- Sunday is also the Skate-A-Thon and Hockey Skills Competition to benefit the March of Dimes.  Your participation and contributions are appreciated!

- And one final reminder...  if you haven't already done so, we hope you'll consider making an appointment to give blood next weekend, Dec. 6. Stanford blood center will be in Event Room 101 during our Open House.  Go to bloodcenter.stanford.edu, select "Find a Drive", and "San Jose."

Saturday Nov 29th - Youth Beginners
Less than 1 year lacrosse experience
U9-U11-U13-U15-U19 (co-ed)
9:30am-2:00pm

  • 9-9:30am Drop off and register
  • 9:30-12:00 Intro to Lacrosse
  • 12-12:30 Lunch (can be purchased at High Five at the Plex or brought)
  • 12:30-2pm Afternoon Skills Session
  • 2-2:30pm Pick up

Sticks, gloves and helmet can be rented for $5
(Bring a hockey helmet and hockey gloves if you have them)

Sunday Nov 30th - Advanced Youth
More than 1 year lacrosse experience
U11-U13-U15-U19 (Girls and Boys Box Lacrosse)
9:30am-2:00pm

  • 9-9:30am Drop off and register
  • 9:30-12:00 Skills Session
  • 12-12:30 Lunch (can be purchased at the on-site restaurant or brought)
  • 12:30-2pm Afternoon Skills Session
  • 2-2:30pm pick up

Boys - Full field lacrosse equipment is required

Girls - Pocketed sticks, gloves and helmet can be rented for $5
(Full equipment will not be required for this clinic. Bring a hockey helmet and hockey gloves if you have them)
