Dear customers and friends,
As
the holiday season comes upon us, our thoughts go out to those in our
community who are having a hard time. We are writing to ask for your
support for two very important efforts at Silver Creek Sportsplex this
month:
Operation Santa
At
each check-in desk you'll notice a tree decorated with tags. Each
tag represents a foster child (Yes, a real, specific child--they are
not just generic or random tags.) Silver Creek Sportsplex customers and
staff have shown incredible generosity in past years and we hope you
will once again come forward to help a foster child have a better
holiday. Please take a tag and bring it back with a new, unwrapped
gift to the hockey or soccer check-in desk. The gifts will be picked up
on Dec. 14th.
2nd Harvest Food Bank
The
2nd Harvest food bins have arrived. There are so many hungry
people in our community. Will you miss a can or two from your pantry?
Please consider bringing a couple of cans with you when you come
to the Plex.
