Tell a friend about Silver Creek Sportsplex!

  August 27, 2008

In this issue:

Help us help a friend...

Gustavo Castro, who many of you know as one of our Striker's Den referees and a longtime member of the local soccer community, was recently injured in a terrible traffic accident. He is facing a long haul in the hospital and in rehabilitation. Gus and his wife Audrey, who runs our women's soccer league and the Mighty Cubs program, as well as their children, are much-loved members of our Silver Creek Sportsplex family.

Many people have asked how they can help. Striker's Den will be holding fundraising events to help the Castro family get through this difficult time, and we have set up a fund for them. Details regarding fundraising events will be sent out via e-mail. If you would like to make a contribution, and/or send a note to the family, you may do so here. Thank you!
