Here is important information regarding the use of these discussion forums on the Silver Creek Sportsplex web site.

These forums are moderated, however, the site administrators do not filter postings - everything submitted is automatically posted.

Please observe proper "netiquette". Acceptable posts are ones that relate to activities at the Silver Creek Sportsplex.

Specifically not allowed on the Forums are commercial solicitations or political campaigning: no selling telephone time or investment opportunities, and no soliciting of campaign contributions or volunteers. It is acceptable to announce items for sale, provided: (1): it is not a commercial business; (2) be short and sweet: invite interested parties to contact you for more details; (3) include the words "FOR SALE" in the subject line.

This is not a joke-exchange: please do not forward jokes, cartoons, etc.: they clog the system, and not everybody finds them funny. Humorous stories and anecdotes of life at the Silver Creek Sportsplex, on the other hand, are welcome.

Do not send attachments, and please limit graphics in your posts: they are annoying for subscribers with slow connections and may spread viruses. To send a picture, post it to your own or other private website, and then provide a link to it in your post.

Regardless of topic, it is never acceptable to personally attack another person, on or off of the Forums - NO FLAMING! Be as courteous to others online as you would be in person.
